About Career Confident
Career Confident started in 2018, having worked in recruitment for a decade, I was tired of seeing wonderful candidates with substandard documentation.
Over the last 6 years I have worked with more than 2000 clients, and have helped countless people put an end to the painful and demoralising job search. If you are getting rejection after rejection, especially auto-rejections, then an overhaul of your documentation may be the solution.
I have a philosophy of balance — your documents need to impress the reader, but also “impress” the robot. Creating engaging documents that showcase your abilities and are optimised for ATS software is my specialty.
About Me
Before turning to Career Coaching full time I worked in recruitment for 10 years, in that time I worked all over the world, in various industries and gained a great breadth of experience. This start to my career has really allowed my CV writing to flourish, I understand the cultural idiosyncrasies of workplaces in different areas of the world, and have a grasp of all sorts of industries, I have recruited in Construction, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Education.

How does the resume writing process work?We try to keep the process as simple as possible; before writing we will gather as much information as possible about you and your career. How we collect that information is not as important as collecting it, if you prefer to work by email, phone call, video call, filling in a questionnaire or a combination of those we can accommodate your needs. We then draft a customised resume based on this information, which you can review and provide feedback on. We offer revisions until you are completely satisfied with the final product.

How long does it take to receive my completed resume?The turnaround time depends on the complexity of your resume and our current workload. Generally, you can expect to receive your first draft within 3-5 business days after the initial consultation. Rush services are available for an additional fee. If you have a deadline to meet it can generally be accommodated.

What if I'm not satisfied with the initial draft of my resume?We offer revisions to ensure your complete satisfaction with the final product. After receiving your draft, you'll have the opportunity to provide feedback and request changes. We'll work closely with you until your resume meets your expectations.

Can you guarantee that I'll get a job if I use your service?While we can't guarantee employment, we can guarantee a professionally crafted resume that effectively highlights your qualifications. Our goal is to increase your chances of securing interviews by presenting you in the best possible light to potential employers. We can help with preparing for those interviews, but once you’re in that room it is out of our control.

Is my personal information kept confidential?Yes, we take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. Any information you provide to us is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties. All documents from completed projects are deleted 3 months after project completion.
